Adverse Childood Events screenings are beginning at Kiwi

Research shows that adverse childhood events (ACE’s) can impact health in adulthood, including such unlikely chronic conditions as High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, and Stroke.

We are beginning to work  with a California statewide program called ACES Aware to screen families with a questionnaire.   This will allow us to begin the conversation with our families and with the goal of addressing and reducing the effects of  stress on children.
